If you're not aware, get aware! Candy Hearts Band are a 3 piece American Pop Punk Band from New York and New Jersey, that formed in 2010 and is made up of Mariel Loveland on Vocals, Matt Ferraro on drums and John Clifford as bassist. Candy Hearts have come leaps and bounds since and have just released their 2nd album, "All the Ways you let me down" which was produced by big name, Chad Gilbert from pop punk legends, New Found Glory. The first single "I miss you" gives you a sense of what the new 11-song album is all about with their upbeat riffs and very catchy hooks, just like any good pop punk song requires - A disgustingly catchy chorus and the ability to make you want to pencil jump until your legs hurt! You'll find it hard not to bop along and belt out the chorus - Don't fight it; Let the pop punk goodness consume you! With the album being mostly about relationships, you can definitely sense that they are influenced by the likes of Taylor Swift, as it's more lyrically more pop than punk, but don't be fooled; it still has the heavier alternative energy striking through, that will have you nodding your head along and throwing your hands above your head. Muriel fronts the band with a positive energy, despite some of the sadder tones of the songs, and they sound similar to the female fronted pop punk band, Hey Monday! "One of the top 10 pop punk bands that people need to know" - Billboard We hooked Mariel up with all kinds of T.U.K. goodies when she stopped by to pick up some kicks for the Candy Heart's latest tours. Her tops picks were the A8503 pointed leather creepers along with the T2215 Glitter Anarchic Boots and the awesome T2219 purple crushed velvet Anarchic Boots. All three choices are great for the punk rock styling she will need for on stage, as the leather creepers look great with rolled up jeans and the combat boots look amazing with dresses, so you can adopt this style quite easily. If you want to catch Candy Hearts Band, they are touring the US for the Glamour Kills Tour in October and then to our delight they are supporting and touring the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour in UK and Ireland in November, with the likes of New Found Glory, The Story so far, State Champs and The Only rivals; tickets are still available so get yours now! These shoes could make Rainbow Brite scream with envy, so obviously GaGa had to have a pair- she looks amazing and twice as tall! The lightweight mondo Viva sole is made from EVA making them lightweight and durable. Each creeper has our iconic skull and bones iconic tread on the sole and we've sandwiched a decorative layer between our classic creeper upper and our mondo Viva sole to make these beautifully unique creations. Our gorgeous new double stacked creepers are available in a variety of different colours and styles, including white leather, leopard print and pointed styles to name a few. It’s time to unleash T.U.K.’s autumn 2014 collection! Buckle up; this new collection is going to take you on a roller coaster ride of nostalgia! With throwback influences from the 90’s there are some super rad and extreme styles as well as some new vegan alternatives. This collection is full of new developments including wrapped sole and super stacked Creepers, ‘Nosebleed’ Platforms and the wooden sole ‘Woodies’ that will all satisfy your shoe desires when looking to make a statement this Autumn. The wrap soles are for the extra pizzazz you require, glitter, polka dots and cork leopard print on a lightweight EVA Viva sole. The stacked creepers, combines the gorgeous wrapped layer and sandwiches it between a traditional upper and a lightweight Viva sole with the skull and bones tread, so you can leave your trail of destruction. These are available in a pointed alternative and are great for turning heads and sparking conversation, even Lady Gaga got herself a pair of the rainbow stacked creepers! The new nosebleed platforms are a whole new level of badassery. We love them and their larger than life persona; complete with rub-off flames, swirls, cracked leather, classic brogue design and an old classic favorite of cut out stars. Speaking of platforms, check out our gnarly 'woodies' range! Platforms on 1/2 a dark brown wood sole and 1/2 a black EVA lightweight sole with various straps and stud designs including the fabulous harness woodie boots! We throwback to the 1940s with our vintage heels collection this Autumn, with classic wingtip navy and cream brogues on a bombshell heel to the plaid chunky loafer heels in a pink plaid, we've got something for all tastes. If our kitty and character selection is more your thing we see the return of the fox character in herringbone textile and the addition of the skully Antipop heels in black or floral print. The classic Kitty Mary Janes see some psychedelic new changes with oil slick detail and vibrant galactic print, to kaleidoscope print and polka kitty combat boots - We can't wait to show these off to you.
