We have delved into the brand's rich heritage to produce the 1970 creeper. Taking creepers back to an iconic era when punk rock was the sound of a rebellious and political youth movement and the creeper became a symbol of subculture and anti-establishment.
T.U.K.'s premium creeper in black leather with white contrast stitching. These round-toe creepers feature a natural rubber sole with crepe finish. They feature leather lining with removable memory foam insoles for extra comfort. The sole height stands at approximately 3.5cm at the heel and 2cm at the toe.

I ordered two pairs of these. I wear UK size 6. The size chart shows different sizes for UK women’s and men’s shoes, but not for US equivalents, despite the fact that the US sizes shoes differently by intended gender, while the UK does not. I went for the EU 39 which usually corresponds to UK 6/6.5. These were far too small, and quite wide. They arrived with obvious imperfections on the leather around the toes.
Next I bought a pair of size 40. These were the right length, but so wide my foot kept slipping out even when pulled as tightly as possible. More concerningly, the upper was twisted on the sole so it was very uncomfortable to wear them, with or without an insole. I’ve never experienced either of these issues in a shoe and am very disappointed by the whole experience.
The only positive was the customer service: very prompt shipping and speedy replies to my emails.

Reminds me of those years in London. I used to buy creepers in BOY or Seditionaries on King's Road. Glad they are available again. Style is perfect, quality is OK. And the soles look stronger (they used to break easily).
