Proudly introducing an all new PETA-approved vegan collection featuring the new TUKskin™ material that is the result of significant advancements in material science over recent years. Its softness provides flexibility and breathability to ensure all day comfort, allowing us to offer quality shoes with all of the functionality of traditional leather without the use of any animal-based components.
Although T.U.K. has stocked tons of vegan shoes for years in many different patterns and textiles, this innovative new material means that T.U.K. can now release a number of their classic Creepers, Creeper Boots and Mary Janes in a vegan-friendly material that finally rivals the appearance of the premium leathers and suedes that have been used in the production of these symbolic shoes from the post-war Teddy Boy era to the original punk movement in the '70s.
With the Creeper's rich history in mind, T.U.K. has incorporated the modern principles of using cruelty-free alternatives in manufacturing to evolve the Creeper into a iconic shoe for the future and not just the past.
Speaking about the introduction of TUKskin™, T.U.K. owner and founder Ian White said “We have heard the voice of our customers for many years and done our best to provide vegan alternatives to traditional shoemaking materials, however, it has been a constant challenge to make sure that those products were made from materials that are consistent with our underlying principal of making high quality shoes that offer great value and original style. With the development and adoption of TUKskin, we are very happy to now be able to achieve that goal, and our plan for 2018 is to vastly increase that offering.”
